In 2011, when aboard the N/M Nordik Express, take advantage of the excursions offered exclusively by the cooperative "Coste". Our onboard representative will be able to supply you all of the details.

1. Natashquan (downstream*)
The birthplace of Gilles Vigneault. Discover, by guided taxi tour, this charming village accessible by road travel since 1997. Visit the boutiques of Les Galets, the Marche de Monsieur Petitpas, the general store (interpretation centre Le Bord du Cap) and the old school of Natashquan where they display the works of Gilles Vigneault.

2. Lamplight tour in Harrington Harbour (downstream)
At approximately 23h30, a fantastic guided lamplight tour along the wooden sidewalks of this unique village. Let yourself be whisked away into the nocturnal, maritime atmosphere while listening to the local history and visiting the church and its cemetary...
Price: $22. p/p taxes included. Duration: 60 minutes.
3. The Grand Seduction of Harrington Harbour (upstream)
Guided walking tour presenting the particularities of this unique village with its wooden sidewalks, Christ Church, Jacques Cartier monument, the Rowsell House interpretation centre and see the main location sites for the filming of "Seducing Dr. Lewis".

4. Tête-à-la-Baleine by outboard (upstream)
By private outboard, on l’île de la Providence, visit the chapel of Saint-Anne and the interpretation centre of the legendary Jos Hébert. Rendez-vous with beautiful landscapes!

5. Tête-à-la-Baleine by minibus (upstream)
Visit this little Francophone village in a minibus accompanied by a guide including the observation trail for an unobstructed view of the region from André’s hill.

6. La Tabatière/Mutton Bay (upstream)
By minivan, tour the Anglophone village of La Tabatière and transfer over to the picturesque fishing village of Mutton Bay (includes photo stops).
Price: $33 p/p Duration: 75 minutes
7. Blanc Sablon & Labrador
Guided tour by bus allows you to discover the spectacular landscapes such as Brador Falls, the rock streams and the promenade of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes and you won’t want to miss stopping at a souvenir shop as well as the Labrador border for a memorable photograph.

8. Blanc Sablon, its whales and icebergs
Spectacular 2-hour cruise (with commentary) to observe the whales and icebergs. Limited number of places available.
Price: $60. p/p taxes included. Duration: 2 hours.
9. Unamen Shipu (La Romaine) (downstream)
Discover this Innu community of 1,050 inhabitants with a local guide, with photo stops at the Roman Catholic church, Marie Reine-des-Indiens, with its unique altar. Learn about the culture and the history of this exceptional people. The Innu of the Lower North Shore are one of the last nomadic aboriginal groups in North America.
